Going through the MAP Health and Wellness Program!

Updated: Nov 8, 2023

Recently, I've been having symptoms of depression more than before. For a long time in my life, I've noticed that I've often felt sad, lacked energy, and had difficulty managing all of my life's tasks; it could be explained a bit by me not knowing that I was neurodivergent/on the autism spectrum and how to honor that in my life, but I'm still not done exploring that.

Depression is never a part of who you are, just an experience you're having. Depression is a choice to feel bad, even though it seems out of your control. Despite how jarring this statement can feel, it's very empowering. Once you begin healing, you can see how your own choices of how to think about life led to depression, and I know this because I'm actively undoing those choices and seeing a change in my life.

Often, depression stems from trauma, too. For me, it's more so the vestiges of living with trauma that are causing depression. Since I've been through MAP three times to heal different traumas, now, I feel peace in those places where I used to feel traumatized. It's a miracle! And it's also all about choices, choosing to let go of what we're holding onto from our traumatic experiences.

MAP Health and Wellness is all about rooting out unhealthy thought patterns and implementing compassionate changes in your life.

I already feel relieved just naming what I'm experiencing and taking action to heal it.

MAP healed my trauma. It helped me, and it can help you, too! If you would like to talk with a MAP Practitioner, they'll be happy to answer all your questions. You can go to mindalignmentprocess.org to get started!

Happy trauma healing. Happy depression-busting. May you have a blessed, happy, and peaceful life! You can do this! :D
